Thank You, Closer

The London Spitfire announce today that we have mutually agreed to part ways with Won-Sik Closer Jung, as he starts his new journey with the Dallas Fuel. Closer has been with the Spitfire since our inception and we consider ourselves very fortunate to have had him as a part of our inaugural season. The presence he brought to the team, from scrims to stage, was an integral part of our championship run and we’re grateful for all the hard work he put in as a member of the team.

“It’s been fantastic working with Closer during this special year and his mentality and commitment are going to be valuable assets for Dallas. I know success will follow wherever he goes.” Jack Etienne, London Spitfire CEO & Owner

“Closer has been an incredible positive force for our team and I am sad to let him go, but at the same time, happy that he’ll be able to shine and continue building his career with Dallas! I know he’ll be a great addition to that team and we’re going to miss him a lot.” - Susie Kim, London Spitfire General Manager

From all of us with the Spitfire organization, thank you, Closer, for helping us capture history. We wish you the best in the next stage of your career and look forward to our paths crossing once again!
